The fully restored 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible we have here at Joe’s Golden Gasolines is easily one of the most prestigious Ford Convertibles ever made. Ours comes with vibrant Honey Gold Poly exterior paint with black interior and with the black convertible top. This has to be one of the best-restored cars I’ve seen come out of the States.
Our 1965 Ford Thunderbird features its factory 390 CI V8 engine under the hood with 300 Horsepower linked to the C6 3 speed cruise o Matic auto transmission. Including the dual exhaust system, original working air conditioning, power steering plus also equipped with the factory power front disc brakes.
Take a look inside the car at its beautifully presented black bucket seat interior including plush carpeting with floor mats and all chrome surroundings in pristine condition. Power windows, power driver seat, special Thunderbird mirrors, reclining passenger seat with headrest, stainless console, white-faced gauges with a lot more to add you will get an idea of how luxurious this Thunderbird really is.
Beautiful Honey Gold Poly was the sales name for the paint with the black convertible power soft top. It has great chrome trim, bumpers, sequential turn signals which flash three bulbs in the horizontal tail lights from inside to outside, great grille, Thunderbird emblem, simulated front fender vent trim, revised Thunderbird scripts, and revised taillight lens trim, and a single centre emblem.
Our Thunderbird convertible has a great opening mechanism where the trunk lid opens electrically in a single piece, hinged at the back of the vehicle, then the fabric top folds down and disappears beneath the trunk lid.
