Under the hood is the original 331 Cubic Inch Cadillac V8 linked to the 2 speed column shift automatic. Still running the 6 volt system, she starts up with ease, quiet as a mouse and with smooth acceleration, this V8 moves this boat along. Beautiful representation of a 1949 Cadillac with a few minor paint cracks and chips.

Look through this time capsule and see inside the interior is mated with a combination of the light blue velour on the bottom half and a white vinyl finish on the top half. Grey carpeted floors and roof, altogether are in very presentable condition. The dash is fitted with AM radio and is in stunning condition.

Exterior is presented in the 2 tone colour combination of Tahoe Blue Iridescent on the lower half with Aspen white over the roof. The chrome, mouldings and ornaments are all presented in great condition. Features included are power windows, the correct 3” white walls tyres, chrome hubcaps and rings and chrome tip on the exhaust.

I’m very glad to present you with this immaculate, two door 1950 grey Cadillac 62 Convertible. Underneath that large bonnet is the 331 CID 90 degree V8 engine coupled to the two speed Hydra-matic Automatic. 95,609 original miles on the clock. I just spent an hour going through the extensive history, paperwork and newspaper articles that was left with this car.

Interior is code with the Dark & Light green leather. Wonder bar radio, heater, power windows, power seat… Day/night mirror, windshield washer and more!

Exterior of this Cadillac is amazing, look at the chrome work, the mouldings, the ornaments, the Cadillac symbols are all in very good condition, the paint, the convertible top all works with a push of a button just under the large steering wheel, there is a tan cover that goes over the convertible top when the top is down, side skirts. Bendix drum brakes, 20 gallon tank, Carter carburettor and rear wheel drive.

This car is beautiful.
